The earliest days of moonknight. It is a true pleasure to watch Doug (writer) and Bill (artist) develop over this series. The book is superbly made and expertly bound. Although I never read comics back in these days was still able to get a lot of enjoyment, standing up to the test of time.

Back when Moon Knight was really cool
Reviewed in the United States on 30 January 2021Verified Purchase
Moon Knight has always been a tough character for Marvel to know how to write, but this omnibus collects his first appearances and team-ups, giving us the incredible beginnings of this awesome character. He was first brought in as an antagonist for Werewolf by Night, but soon got his own solo stories as back-ups to Hulk magazines and then became a regular in team-up books before getting his own series.
When Marvel had a good writer for him, he was incredible. Collected here is not only his first appearances in Werewolf and others, but the complete back-up story from the old Rampaging Hulk magazines that gave us our first look at how dark the character could be (and really upped that Batman feel they were trying to go for). We also get the first few issues of his first solo series, when Marvel was truly getting a feel for the character. Of course, he really shines in team-ups and there is no shortage of them here with him appearing alongside Spider-Man, the Thing, Daredevil, and the Defenders.
This collection is a solid one of great Moon Knight stories. If you love the character, you will absolutely enjoy this look at who he was before the rotating writers collection from today got to him and kept trying to make him crazier and crazier. He's still got some issues in here, but it doesn't overshadow the stories inside.

FANTASTIC BOOK
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 April 2021Verified Purchase
Brilliant book, this collection has the essential stories you have to read if you're a fan of moon knight. From his debut in werewolf by night, specials, guest appearances and finally his own original comic. There is a fair amount of extra artwork at the back of the book as well. The book is well put together as with other books in the marvel omnibus series. If you are a fan of moon knight then buy this book you won't regret it

A must for any Moon Knight fan

I like that it included the Werewolf by Night 32 the first appearance of Moon Knight, which I've always wanted to read. The colours are really bright and really well done. The paper quality is great too.

A Must Own for Moon Knight Fans
Reviewed in the United States on 3 November 2021Verified Purchase
I've been a fan of Moon Knight since I was a kid in the 80s, and it's fantastic to have not only the first half or so of the excellent Moench/Sienkevitch run, but also every comic leading up to that, starting with his very first appearance in Werewolf by Night. There's no character quite like him, and writing and art are superb. This is an excellent omnibus. I'll definitely buy the next one.
