Wondering why I would say great torch but, well it is a brilliant light and throws at least 400 mtrs and very sturdy and strong, also able to use as a defensive weapon, if needed.My small issue is I never received the keychain torch, however this one is big, please read, the instructions say do not charge with over 4.2 volts, now in Australia and many other countries 5volts is normal.As described, This torch can apparently be plugged into anything according to the details, I’m guessing that could be a problem if you look at the instructions, I certainly don’t want a torch burning out of short circuiting while I’m at home, in travel (car) or elsewhere. It also has no polar switch, meaning that if you accidentally put the battery in upside down, it could cause it fry, no go. I’m surprised no one here has seen the difference between the item description and the actual brochure containing the instructions for use ( crucial information if you don’t want a acid battery accident)However in the instructions it says it will burn 🔥 out the circuit board if charged with anything other than 4.2 volts max, be aware, I’ve contacted the company as I’m not willing to have an accident on my hands, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE, I should note that anyone that purchased the model with the red battery, 10,000 lumens should have the same concerns, I don’t want to be spending $$$ just to charge this safely. I’ll wait to hear back from them. It’s so sad for me because I think it’s a great product, what a beam, I’m sure the keychain I didn’t get would have been great too. I was surprised with the batteries supplied, 3 x AAA and 1 x 26650 battery (need to confirm size)
The larger battery provides longer use time which is nice. I originally was looking for a torch with an 18650 battery as I have plenty of these. This torch additionally came with a converter for an 18650 as well.
Brightness and focus is excellent. There is a small display to provide an indication of charge level.
I also used the torch to power/charge my phone the other day while listening to a (long) podcast (bonus)
My phone didn't get much extra charge out of the transaction but battery % remaining also was high on the torch after running for a couple of hours with the phone playing the podcast. Phone battery started at 2% and was around 25% when I finished. Torch battery was still over 60% The quality little carry case for the torch was a nice touch to keep everything neat and together. I repurposed this for my grandson's toys.

On opening the box, the remaining power of the battery was 84% as indicated on the LED numeric power indicator. It took 1hr and 10m to fully charge the battery, bringing the power from 84% to 100%.

On high setting, this flashlight went for 2.5hr when it dropped from 100% to 16%. The brightness was maintained throughout. If the power indicator were to go to zero, the total duration would have been 3 hours, and not the 8 hours touted on Amazon. With continuous illumination on high setting, the flashlight does get warm, but not at all hot. Nothing to worry about here.

It took 5hr and 10m to fully charge from 16% to 100% using a fast charger. (I would usually recharge when the remaining power falls to 20%). To charge from 0% to 100%, it would take longer, around 6.5hr. In this regard the recharge time of 6.5hr are within stated range of 6-8hr.

Another user had said that charging the torch from about 40% to the 100% took an hour. This could have been the case for an older version of this flashlight. Upgraded and more powerful batteries being in use nowadays suggest not just longer usage time, but also longer charging time. Based on my initial tests, charging the 5000mAh battery from 40% to 100% would take 4 hours. In my everyday usage time of 15-20 minutes, it would take a week or two before a recharge is necessary. Bear in mind it is not obligatory to use the high setting all the time.

In brief, I would recommend this flashlight. It looks solid as the main body is made of metal. The USB Type C input is a little flimsy, so care must be exercised when plugging and unplugging. For the price, I would be quite happy for this flashlight to have an active service life of several years.

Après mon ancienne lampe torche tombée en panne au bout de deux ans et demi, il m'en fallait une nouvelle. L'ancienne avait une batterie morte et le chargeur via micro usb n'était pas pratique et même cassé, micro USB abîmée . Je déconseille. La prise de charge s'etait enfoncée et il devenait dur de la recharger.
Donc, après comparatifs et lecture de très nombreux tests sur internet je prend celle là.

LES POINTS POSITIFS :
-Très très puissante avec une lumière blanche qui va aussi loin que l'œil distingue un objet, un arbre, un mouvement... en mode zoom. C'est même au delà des capacités de distinguer des yeux humains.
-Le troisième mode plus économique pour la batterie ÉCLAIRE déjà très bien et largement suffisant. La durée annoncée de la batterie est de 12 heures et au minimum 8 heures en mode puissant et en utilisation sans arrêt. Ça fait pas mal avec cette qualité d'éclairage.
-La zone éclairée est extrêmement bien définie en mode circulaire. Sur mon ancienne lampe cela faisait une sorte de carré beaucoup moins beau. On dirait là une poursuite sur une scène de théâtre. Voir la photo où le rayon en mode zoom est pointé de nuit vers la lune. Cela fait vraiment "rayon laser" et l'on peux même désigner telle ou telle étoile en étant accompagné. Impressionnant.
-Elle semble très solide et le poids est supérieur à la moyenne des autres lampes torches, sans en avoir être gênant.
-La valise de rangement avec ce qui accompagne est parfait. La mini lampe aimanté éclaire beaucoup et pourrait largement suffire pour voir largement, peut servir de porte clef et se recharge par le même câble fourni. Très pratique. L'étui de ceinture est parfait et se clipse solidement sans avoir à enlever sa ceinture. Bouton pression large.
-Charge par port USB C depuis USB. Adaptateur secteur non fourni, c'est le même que
celui d'un téléphone portable. J'étais Recharge par secteurou bien par PC sans adapteur .
-Le choix des intensité est vraiment pratique. Le plus "faible" eclaire déjà très bien.

LES POINTS NEGATIFS:
-Le cercle d'éclairage est moins large que mon ancienne lampe. C'est à dire que lorsque ce n'est pas en mode zoom, la frontière du cercle de lumière est moins enveloppant autour de soi. C'est un choix j'imagine pour augmenter la portée de la lentille en mode zoom. Je tiens donc la lampe un peu en recul et non devant moi pour être plus "enveloppé" dans la lumière. Et ce n'est pas vraiment nécessaire, j'oublie, c'est plus une habitude prise par la diffusion un peu différente de mon ancienne lampe torche. Cela fait un très grand cercle de lumière dans tous les cas avec une frontière net et le noir marqué autour. Ça à ses très bon côtés et n'est pas vraiment un défaut. Cela peut même être un atout pour mieux distinguer des détails. Mais il existe des lampe où la lumière est plus diffusée. La lentille focalise donc vraiment au maximum d'où l'efficacité du zoom à la limite de l'œil humain pour voir aussi loin (point positif ou négatif selon les goût)
-La charge prend du temps, quelques heures. La batterie tiens entre 8 et 12 heures d'après la marque et la charge prend plusieurs heures. Mais ce n'est pas un problème. On peut la laisser charger en fin de soirée et voilà. A voir si la durée de vie sur la DURÉE de vie de la batterie mais elle est garantie, dans les termes d'une utilisation dans les règles, sauf erreur de ma part pour au minimum un an, voir deux. Vous pouvez poser la question aux vendeurs via le site.

Au final, une lampe extrêmement puissante qui pourrait déranger mes voisin de très loin à l'intérieur de leur salon si je visais leur fenêtre,... ne pas faire :)
Pratique, très bonne qualité apparemment. Lot parfait, rangement facile, ne crains pas la pluie pour promener le chien avec le mauvais temps. Vraiment la lampe parfaite et j'en ai offert une identique à mes parents. Chargée à environ 70/85% à l'ouverture de l'envoi, l'indication écrite du reste de la charge en mode pourcentage leur à beaucoup plus. Mon père est ancien militaire et à été impressionné par cette lampe. On peux dire qu'elle à un très haut niveau de qualité et d'efficacité.

Évidemment, vu mon commentaire, aucuns regrets et je vous conseille de vous arrêtez sur ce modèle sans hésitation.
Pour randonneur ou fermier, militaire, policier, elle est totalement adaptée et au delà des autres que j'ai connus jusqu'à présent.
Je recommande vivement.

-Le troisième mode plus économique pour la batterie ÉCLAIRE déjà très bien et largement suffisant. La durée annoncée de la batterie est de 12 heures et au minimum 8 heures en mode puissant et en utilisation sans arrêt. Ça fait pas mal avec cette qualité d'éclairage.
-La zone éclairée est extrêmement bien définie en mode circulaire. Sur mon ancienne lampe cela faisait une sorte de carré beaucoup moins beau. On dirait là une poursuite sur une scène de théâtre. Voir la photo où le rayon en mode zoom est pointé de nuit vers la lune. Cela fait vraiment "rayon laser" et l'on peux même désigner telle ou telle étoile en étant accompagné. Impressionnant.
-Elle semble très solide et le poids est supérieur à la moyenne des autres lampes torches, sans en avoir être gênant.
-La valise de rangement avec ce qui accompagne est parfait. La mini lampe aimanté éclaire beaucoup et pourrait largement suffire pour voir largement, peut servir de porte clef et se recharge par le même câble fourni. Très pratique. L'étui de ceinture est parfait et se clipse solidement sans avoir à enlever sa ceinture. Bouton pression large.
-Charge par port USB C depuis USB. Adaptateur secteur non fourni, c'est le même que
celui d'un téléphone portable. J'étais Recharge par secteurou bien par PC sans adapteur .
-Le choix des intensité est vraiment pratique. Le plus "faible" eclaire déjà très bien.

LES POINTS NEGATIFS:
-Le cercle d'éclairage est moins large que mon ancienne lampe. C'est à dire que lorsque ce n'est pas en mode zoom, la frontière du cercle de lumière est moins enveloppant autour de soi. C'est un choix j'imagine pour augmenter la portée de la lentille en mode zoom. Je tiens donc la lampe un peu en recul et non devant moi pour être plus "enveloppé" dans la lumière. Et ce n'est pas vraiment nécessaire, j'oublie, c'est plus une habitude prise par la diffusion un peu différente de mon ancienne lampe torche. Cela fait un très grand cercle de lumière dans tous les cas avec une frontière net et le noir marqué autour. Ça à ses très bon côtés et n'est pas vraiment un défaut. Cela peut même être un atout pour mieux distinguer des détails. Mais il existe des lampe où la lumière est plus diffusée. La lentille focalise donc vraiment au maximum d'où l'efficacité du zoom à la limite de l'œil humain pour voir aussi loin (point positif ou négatif selon les goût)
-La charge prend du temps, quelques heures. La batterie tiens entre 8 et 12 heures d'après la marque et la charge prend plusieurs heures. Mais ce n'est pas un problème. On peut la laisser charger en fin de soirée et voilà. A voir si la durée de vie sur la DURÉE de vie de la batterie mais elle est garantie, dans les termes d'une utilisation dans les règles, sauf erreur de ma part pour au minimum un an, voir deux. Vous pouvez poser la question aux vendeurs via le site.

Au final, une lampe extrêmement puissante qui pourrait déranger mes voisin de très loin à l'intérieur de leur salon si je visais leur fenêtre,... ne pas faire :)
Pratique, très bonne qualité apparemment. Lot parfait, rangement facile, ne crains pas la pluie pour promener le chien avec le mauvais temps. Vraiment la lampe parfaite et j'en ai offert une identique à mes parents. Chargée à environ 70/85% à l'ouverture de l'envoi, l'indication écrite du reste de la charge en mode pourcentage leur à beaucoup plus. Mon père est ancien militaire et à été impressionné par cette lampe. On peux dire qu'elle à un très haut niveau de qualité et d'efficacité.

Évidemment, vu mon commentaire, aucuns regrets et je vous conseille de vous arrêtez sur ce modèle sans hésitation.
Pour randonneur ou fermier, militaire, policier, elle est totalement adaptée et au delà des autres que j'ai connus jusqu'à présent.
Je recommande vivement.

Using this torch for the first time last night,while walking back from work, I was impressed how very powerful the torch is!
The range and brightness of the light is amazing!!,Picking out detail from a big distance,gave me a good deal of personal reassurance and safety while walking back from work.
The build quality is great,solid in the hands,quite compact and not too heavy either
The light modes easy to understand. Very easy to go from flood to spot in seconds sliding the head of the torch in and out
Not sure on how long the battery will last, but that pends on the brightness level you set of course, the capacity of the battery is very good,though
Many nice touches include, the battery level indicator,the USB port as an emergency power bank, the rechargeable small led cob light which is very bright and will come handy for something.
There is also a set of batteries and a cage to put them into the torch should you want to use them instead of the main rechargeable battery,a plastic case to store everything in.
Recharging the torch is very easy with the supplied cable that plugs into any USB socket,the led display will show the charging progress
Overall I am very pleased, at a great affordable price, compare to other well known makes,which have less power and features!
So many uses for this torch and of course a great gift for someone too!

colis reçu en quelques heure en boite aux lettres.

c'est ma troisième shadowhawk : deux X70 et celle-ci X77

l'enveloppe contient : une boite plastique avec mousse de rembourrage a peu près étanche.
la boite plastique contient : la lampe, 2 câbles USB a-c, une pochette de ceinture, 1 dragonne,1 batterie l-ion 26650 et 1 adaptateur pile avec 3 piles RO3 ainsi qu'une petite lampe portative.

la batterie 26650 est chargée à 66% : 3h pour la mettre a 100% avec charge 1A

la torche : diamètre un peu plus gros que les autres mais légèrement plus courte. le bouton poussoir permet l'allumage et les différents modes d'éclairage : la luminosité ne passe pas brusquement d'un état a l'autre mais progressivement. a l'extinction de la lampe il y a un joli éclairage bleu a l'intérieur de la lentille (comme si c'était phosphorescent) cette lumière dure 2-3 minutes. la lampe est équipée d'une puce X77 : en zoom maxi l'éclairage est rond, a 4m d'un mur on voit un pourtour carré sur le mur, pourtour carré très moche, en pleine nature pas de problème. l'éclairage est bon mais légèrement moins fort que la puce X70 : cette X77 est moins éblouissante. en zoom maxi la portée est tres bonne : au moins 600m ceci dit ca ne sert pas a grand chose puisque de nuit notre vue est limitée a 300-400m : la portée de cette lampe a 300m est donc excellente. 5 mode d'eclairage : fort -moyen -faible - clignotement - ou sos en morse.
la lampe porte clé : rechargeable en usb C, éclairage bon (~300lm), mousqueton, 3 mode d'éclairage fort-moyen-clignotant, l'aimant au dos est tout juste assez fort pour coller la lampe. cette lampe tient debout d'elle même a aussi un pied qui permet de l'inclinée ainsi qu'un petit pas de vis de 6 (qui n'a pas l'air solide). l'arrière du mousqueton fait aussi décapsuleur (c'est gadget mais c'est sympa).

a noter que cette X77 a un beau faisceau rond en zoom, la X70 fait plutôt un carré avec une croix centrale : cette croix est très pratique au boulot pour quand on veut montrer un élément.

en résumé :
points positifs : luminosité très bonne, afficheur d'état de la batterie, batterie conséquente (5000mAh), port USB C de recharge compatible avec tous les câbles, pochette de ceinture incluse. jamais eu de problème de panne sur ces shadowhawk. autonomie de plusieurs heures.

point moyen : batterie 26650 (c'est moins standard), léger jeu dans le zoom, lourde, la lampe passe automatiquement en éclairage moyen quand la led chauffe de trop (échauffement dans la partie coulissante du zoom).

point négatif : rien pour l'instant.

en bref : je vais garder la X70 pour le boulot et cette X77 pour promener toutou

The Shadowhawk Torch torch came in a nice tidy case which contained a small led keylight as a bonus. The main torch at 20,000 Lumens, when you move the head of the torch to a sort of spotlight/pinpoint it’s very impressive and at a good distance. I walk my dogs, often early hours, most torches I’ve had illuminate no problem with with the Shadowhawk and when my dogs are out sniffing around 50m to 100m from me my normal torch would pick them up but not with any detail, no such issue with the Shadowhawk. with the head on the spotlight mode I can pinpoint my dogs at 100m and with perfect detail, it really is a precise light. In normal mode with the beam for all around, you could think it was daylight. There is nothing negative I can say about this torch, the digital display for battery percentage is accurate and very handy, the torch has several modes of brigtness, full, lower (around 70% ) and lower still at around 40% …just key press the main button to switch between them, a further 4th press and you’re in strobe mode and a further press gives you a sloww flash similar to SOS….or if you want to simply switch the torch off anywhere along the way keep the button pressed for a few seconds and it simply switches off.

Another thing this torch does is provide a usb power bank, to charge the torch it requires a USB-C lead (supplied) and same goes for the small keylight torch, the lead is also supplied for that. the power bank side simply plug your usb lead into it for your phone or whatever.. As a guide, one of my samsung phones was flat, I plugged the phone via the USB port of the torch. I charged my phone to 10% within about the same time in minutes (10) and lost about 7& of my charge on the torch (from 93% at the time to around 86%. …

The main torch comes with a rechargeable battery and a set of 3x aaa’s. I’ve not used the 3xaaa but the torch has a cylinder holder to put them into to then put in to the torch, but I’ve used the rechargeable which doesnt’ require any adapters, it simply goes in the torch unaided. I’ve not charged the torch from flat but at about 40% to the 100% took an our or so and I’ve been out for an hour this evening with the torch and using it with the dogs, lots of times using it and it’s still at around 90%….

The case it comes with is neat, the torch also comes with a belt pouch but I haven’t used it, the case is foam padded and plastic but it’s not flimsy.

In short this Shadowhawk 20,000 Lumens Torch is excellent and despite it’s brigthness it’s not huge at all, aboutr 7 or 8 inches…I’ve got much larger torches with a lot less lumens …and now I’ve had time to use this Shadowhawk I’ll be retiring my other torches.

It’s excellent value for money and I fully recommened the Shadowhawk 20,000 Lumens Torch.

So I purchased this torch as I wanted a good quality tourch for walks in the winter evenings with the Mrs. Seen on black Friday sale, read the reviews so purchased it as had good reviews. So I've had this torch for 4 weeks now and u defo get what u pay for with this torch. There's cheaper alternatives but this torch is great, has a great weight to it so not to light but not heavy (just right) it's got great zoom and lights up dark places really well so very easy to see where your going I'm pitch black place or places that have limited lighting i.e. country parks when starts to get dark. I'd definitely recommend this if your looking to spend a bit more money on a quality torch. It's strong, durable, battery life is really good and easy to charge up. Also doesn't really drain the battery when out and about using the torch for walks etc.
Highly recommend this torch if your wanting to spend a bit more on a quality torch that's gonna last.
