It is always a pleasure buying from sonyaustralia. I have always been very happy with all Sony products. However, this product is an exception and is not really worth even the discounted price. Product is well built and can feel the quality, it just works. But I bought this for the sound and it is disappointing a lot. Slightly better than the built-in speakers and that is all I can say. It can get loud, yes. But the sound is not balanced and it is even from the mid-low to low it is non-existent

Sony Soundbar does not disappoint
Great Soundbar for a small lounge room if you don't want to add a crowd the room with subwoofer's and other speakers. Sound is crisp and clear and has punch. Great for streaming music via bluetooth as well.

Arrived promptly, with tracking, in an unmarked box, even though stated damaged box in advert. Was unused and unopened. Sound was shrill, tinny and unpleasant. Audio, particularly anything with an "S" in it sounded unclear, as if not tuned correctly. Couldn't tolerate listening for long. Unit also lacked base. Had all the features and well built, but missed out entirely on what it was designed to do. A solid budged speaker
Bought it for half price on sale as a refurbished from Sony. Awesome sound quality for the price and would suit for small room or living area without having to need an extra subwoofer.

Excellent sound great product!
Got this on the eBay Plus tuesday deal. Excellent sound great product! Although I do find that the bluetooth connection to my laptop doesn't automatically connect small inconvenience since its pretty easy to reconnect. Just surprising that it doesnt do it automatically.

Good sound, works w/Sony TV remote
good sound albeit a liiittle bit thin, but you can't expect a lot of bass from something like this. May be fixable with EQ, only just got it so not sure. Also works with my Sony TV's remote if plugged into ARC HDMI input which is super handy as you don't need to use the included remote. Way better than the stock TV speakers, don't have to blast volume to hear people speak on some shows as I did with the stock TV speakers. Got it on sale for $99, no ragrets ;-)good sound albeit a liiittle bit thin, but you can't expect a lot of bass from something like this. May be fixable with EQ, only just got it so not sure.
