As someone who used to draw but lost inspiration, this is a blessing and great tool to get you started in the world of art. It is somewhat true to say that it is intuitive. However, I'd like to accentuate the idea of efficiency of work as being a highlight of this product.
It is powerful, capable and elegant. Resembling a bluetooth tracking pad, it comes with a 2-button stylus and a small-mid sized tablet which is rounded and light to carry. The aesthetics are pleasing albeit simple and ergonomic.
There are 4-5 buttons near to the top of the pad which depress into the tab itself and have a tactile sound when pressing with the pen. The feel of the stylus, with its almighty powerful sensor, is excellent and easy to adjust to after a little practice (I spent 10-15 minutes and thereafter, felt like a pro).
It is bluetooth capable and charges fairly well - however, I usually have it plugged in. As far as portability goes, it is fantastic and can be used while lounging in the chair with fair ease.
The software comes in three choices (2 of which you can choose after a very simple registration process online) and all provide opportunities or entry gateways into the world of digital art. There are plenty of youtube tutorials so you SHOULD NOT feel scared at all! For once you get in the wacom state of mind, it'll be hard to turn back as the efficiency of this product is great for a beginner!
For more advanced artists, this could easily be used as a second sketch pad for those rougher drawings and can work as an accomplice to the bigger boys of the wacom world.
