I picked up another brand from a local store but after reading reviews and watching a few YouTube videos I returned it to get this Tineco. For the price, I felt it was a better deal, but I can tell it's not quite as high quality as the one I returned.

The range of accessories is great, but the elbow bending"joint" accessory doesn't firmly click/lock into the position you set it at and can't handle the weight of any accessories you put on the end, so it just flops down or straightens again if you put any pressure on it. I wanted something that would make cleaning the ceiling fans easier, and it just is a bit awkward compared to the similar and better made accessory on the other brand I tried.

Suction seems good but the filter really does need cleaning after every run or the suction becomes weak. It's amazing what it collects. Most of the time I run it on the lowest setting and it doesn't struggle.

The debris chamber could have a cleaner design. It has nooks and crannies that are hard to clean and I'm not convinced the dust is completely contained within the chamber, perhaps the seal isn't quite as good as I had hoped. But we do empty it after every use and the latch is very springy so there's a bit of dust kickback, which collects on the outside and may be why I feel like it's

leaking. Nonetheless emptying is a little harder than the other brand was, and there are exposed screws etc which I would be hesitant to get wet, so fully cleaning the inside of the canister is limited to awkward wipes with a microfiber cloth, and the little brush that came with it. I don't feel comfortable washing it out.

The flat floor brush is amazing, it picks up anything. The carpet brush really doesn't work well on hard floors, it spits around even little debris, and is actually incredible squeaky, making the vacuum feel"cheap". , so if you have a rug on hard floors, you definitely need to change heads. Depending on your house design, that may be a bit annoying.

Overall, we were happy we saved over$300 by getting this vacuum, but I can tell where the quality isn't quite as high. Let's hope it lasts a good few years!

Bought this after reading the reviews. Was going to purchase a Dyson V8 Absolute. This was the better choice imo. Double batteries, double filters + hepa. Loads of attachments. Reasonable price. Lots of pros!

Here are the "cons":
Battery does not charge at the same time on the dock, charges the one in the machine, then the spare. It does not matter which has the most or least battery. It will always charge the machine first.

When pulling the trigger, there is a slight lag before the vacuum actually does anything. I suppose its good if you want to check the battery real quick. But the Dyson is instant once you pull the trigger.

Dustbin is small, but, the unit is so comfortable to hold/use. It's a good and a bad. More like physics is the issue here.

I would always recommend this over any Dyson for the similar price. I hope they don't price hike like Dyson. Just make a good, reasonably priced, well rounded vacuum like this. You are on to a winner in my book!

This is the absolute worst stick vacuum I have ever used. I regret ever deviating from the old trusty dyson stick vacs to see if this one was better. You have to use it on max power to get anywhere near the suction my old stick vac had on it's lowest setting, and when you use it on the max power the unit itself becomes SO hot it burns my hand after a couple of minutes. It also doesn't seem to have enough suction to suck the dirt/dust up into the cannister well enough as when you finish vacuuming and lift the vacuum off the floor, half the dust just falls straight back out. It also requires so much more cleaning/maintenance than any other stick vac I've used. Just overall a terrible purchase.

UPDATE: 5/16/2020; Well it’s been a great little cordless vacuum up until now. The motor has died/frozen. Sad because it’s only a year and a half old. It’s super light, has decent suction for out needs (pet hair and dust) and it has a long lasting charge (30-40 mins). Will probably go with Dyson for its replacement. Good vacuum nonetheless just wished it hadn’t died so soon.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This is our first cordless stick vacuum and so far we love it. It comes from Amazon very well packaged with the display box inside a box and then that inside yet another box. I'm really surprised how good the suction is for a battery powered vacuum! It's pretty light (compared to our old corded vacuum) and maneuvers really well. All of the attachments are high quality and easy to use and emptying the dust bin couldn't be any easier. Our house is completely all hardwood and we have a small dog that sheds a lot. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the lights on the front are great and really make it easy to see all the hair, dust, etc. it's picking up. Battery life is about 20 minutes on low and from what I've read, that should increase as the batteries become conditioned. I was able to vacuum our two-story, 1700 sq. foot house with one battery on low. I'll post another update in a few months to see how we're still liking (or disliking) this vacuum. So far though, we are really liking it.

UPDATE: So we’ve had this vacuum for about 4 months now and I have to say, this is a great product. Works great for us. We have a two story, 1700 sq. foot house with hardwood throughout and I can vac the whole house on one battery. Granted that’s on the low setting most of the time which is good for most light dust and our dogs hair. The five LED lights really help to see all the dust and hair and let you see that this vac is really picking stuff up. It’s also pretty light and maneuverable which makes cleaning the stairs super easy. Another bonus is that all the of the included attachments make it perfect for vacuuming our cars. All in all, this is a great cordless vacuum that I do not hesitate to recommend.

If it ain't actually broke, I'm always reluctant to replace old gear. So why did I get rid of my old vacuum cleaner (which still worked) and buy a Tineco? Well, I live in a house with millions of stairs and the old machine was getting heavier. The cable was always wrapping itself round my legs. And I really wanted to go light and cordless. Which? Magazine recommended Tineco, so I thought, 'blow it, why not?' Or should that be 'suck it, why not'?
The model I chose, the A11 Hero, wasn't expensive, not as these things go, and there's no point buying the cheapest of anything. I haven't had it three weeks yet, but I'm ready to give a verdict.
1. It is amazingly light and convenient. I spot a cobweb. Or a moth. Or crumbs. And I can just get the machine and deal with it there and then. I couldn't do that before – not with a vacuum the weight of a Sherman tank. With no weight and no cable, it makes hoovering the stairs a positive pleasure.
2. It cleans like a good'un. I like being able to change the power of the suction. On the top setting I've actually cleaned awkward carpeted corners I'd given up on.
3. It comes with plenty of accessories and it's easier to empty than my old monster; it stores easily too.
4. And this is the really amazing bit – for me, anyway. You can take it apart to clean it – easily. And it goes back together again – easily. I had to think a bit the first time, but then I realised how intuitive it is. Idiot proof, in fact. Even for me.
Yes, okay, if I don't say something is wrong, no-one will believe me. So, here goes. Some people may think the bin is a bit smaller than they're used to. But I can vacuum four floors without emptying it – and I don't do it that often! I haven't yet tried hoovering the whole house in one go, so I can't say from my own experience if the battery would last that long. Maybe not, if you use full power a lot. But the battery, I find charges quite quickly. And anyone who lives in a mansion you can buy a second battery as a back up.
Anyway, for me this has been a pretty good buy.

I don't think of myself as someone who likes to clean because I am easily distracted and overwhelmed by details, especially with the constant interruptions of family life. Plugging and unplugging, juggling a cord etc just drain my emotional energy. When my old shark went caput I started shopping for cordless vacuums. I read all the reviews, went to view them in Bed Bath and Beyond etc. I purchased a Dyson from BB&B (I don't recall which one, there are so many) because they honor returns and I wasn't sure what I wanted. The Dyson stopped working within 24 hours which I am sure was a fluke but made my decision easy.

I wanted the following. 1. to easily slip under furniture and tables without wacking everything and doing calisthenics to maneuver. 2. to vacuum my whole house without losing power. 3. Easy to pull out and put back, obviously no cords. 4. suction deals with sand and hair 5. Easy to clean the machine, empty chamber etc.

1. This vacuum is very easy to maneuver between kitchen chairs (because details like moving them aren't my forte,) under beds etc.
2. The dual battery pack get my through my 1800 sq foot house with ease. But like I said I have a short attention span, I don't want to be cleaning longer than two batteries allows. I usually use the power setting which has great suction for my needs.
3. I get that it is annoying that it doesn't prop up or stand alone for some people but I'm not phased. I have the charger it in a water heater closet with the charging cord under the door so I just throw it in its charging station, prop up the stem between the water heater and wall and viola. I'm good.
4. I have two children and a dog, I'm always amazed by how much it sucks up every single day. It's kind of fun now to see how much hair and dirt get spread throughout the house in 24 hours. Gross, but the fun because of its easy to see in the chamber.
5. This thing is as easy as anything to empty. I usually use a toothbrush to clean the filters even though the built in tool works fine. I just don't understand sucking the fine stuff back up into the system to just dirty up the other filter. Just go outside with an old toothbrush and stay upwind. When stuff gets stuck in the motorized brush it's very simple to untangle because the brush easily pops in and out, (but never falls out.)

I'm writing this review even though I purchased it over a year and a half ago because my engine died. I was using diatomaceous earth for a flea issue. Theres nothing saying not to suck up DE, but in hindsight I should have used a shopvac considering how liberal I was with my application. The DE got into the agitators. I am impressed with the company because they are sending me a new motor. I got in a bit of an argument with the customer service via message because I had more questions than they could handle and let's be real, their english was not great. Language issues aside they were super nice. I had no expectation that they would replace my motor because I didn't register the machine like I was supposed to, but apparently that didn't matter. The customer service rep thought my issue was user error but somehow I am still getting a replacement motor. All details aside, a company that stands by their product like this is a gem. I just received a tracking number and my new motor is on the way. Avoid DE, guys, those teeny tiny particles will not do this machine any favors.

I've been using this for 6 months now. Overall, it's GREAT - I use this at least once a day. There are already detailed reviews, so I'll keep it to the main takeaways.

First, I live alone in a large 1-BR apt with no pets, but have LONG dark hair.

Pros:
- suction power is great and has no problem with carpet even without using max mode
- never needed more than 1 battery to clean my entire apt
- light & easy to maneuver for corners, under spaces, etc.
- comes up with just the ESSENTIAL attachments vs. nice-to-have (I'm tight on space so this is great)
- love the charging station where I can keep everything together
- design is great
- easy to clean

Cons:
- really the only con is that my hair is long and is constantly getting caught in the brush and filters, and what would be a simple "one-touch" emptying the bin, I have to manually grab, pull, and untangle my hair from the filter and brush head every time I clean. I put on disposable gloves (b/c it's disgusting) and do this every time the filter is full, which is once a week or so.

This is a revised review as my initial one was more of a rant about it not coming with the floor based charging unit, which is somewhat unfair.

Having had this a few months now, I have to say that I am more than impressed. Build quality is actually pretty good, and the fact that you get two batteries is even better!! The run time is more than adequate for my needs.

When you put this on Max, you can actually feel it sucking down on the carpet/rug, which although means a little bit of extra effort is required to push it, you know that it's doing what it's supposed to. I have other cordless vacuum cleaners where the head is so light and no matter what power you have it on, it just wanders about where it wants to! This stays stuck to the floor!!

It comes with 2 x filters and a filter cleaning device which is so simple to use and a very nice touch. I'm left handed, to I do get a blast of air hitting my arm when using the device, but if you are right handed, not a problem - on hot days, it could be quite a nice feature in keeping you cool whilst you vacuum actually I guess!!

I took a punt when purchasing this because it's not particularity cheap when compared to some of these other cheap Chinese vacuums, however, I do believe that it paid off and I am more than happy.
