A beautiful book with great art, lore and more. If you are a huge Zelda nerd then it's worth it (provided you can afford it). If the look of the cartridge design doesn't make you geek out then either get the regular edition or pass. Other than the aesthetics, I don't believe there's much difference to the regular edition.

I owned the cartridge this book is designed after - it was the second NES game I ever recieved as a child, and I have so many fond memories of solving the puzzles and finding secrets as a little girl. Sadly, in my late twenties I sold my original catridge as I was going through a minimalism phase (and was saving all I could for a mortgage 💀). I deeply regret this now, it's literally the only item from my childhood I wish I'd kept.

This book's design does the cartridge prefect justice. It's sturdy, and even the texture is bang-on. And unlike my long-gone cartridge, I can actually use this! The print quality is excellent, and I really recommend it to Zelda fans, especially older millennials like myself who have fond memories of the NES/Famicom.

Also, it's heavy enough to use as a weapon against a Stalfos. Bonus points for that.

This book is absolutely beautiful! The book looks like the original gold cartridge and the black plastic slip cover adds to that look, as well. There's a small instruction book similar to the original game instructions that tells about the book and how to care for it - don't put it in water for example. Whoever put this together clearly loves the Zelda games. The book is full of art and information from the original game up to Twilight Princess. Breath of the Wild isn't included, but I think the book was put together before BotW was released. The book weighs about 5 pounds and is a little over 14 inches tall - it's well worth the price.
