Good but need screen protector.
So far, there is no issue with this watch, except the screen is easy to scratch. Screen protector is really required for this product.

Coming from few different "smart" bands/trackers with the most recent being Fitbit Versa, Withings Nokia Steel HR Sport is the best so far for my needs:
- Not loaded with unnecessary things like mp3 player
- Excellent battery life making it usable as an actual watch
- The app on Android is very light (both in design and loading the phone) and informative. I had no issue with syncing.
- No look-at-me style. Can easily pass as an ordinary clean looking watch
- Has vibrating alarm that actually works
- Step counter is not fooled by driving a car
- Built-in heart rate counter is accurate

I can think of only two down sides:
- If I wake up during the night and do something and then sleep back, the watch doesn't know I slept again so in the morning, it would register only short sleep duration.
- The watch face doesn't have fluorescent needles and numbers, so you have to press the button to see the time always.

I've been looking at 'smart' watches for a while...I am invested in the Google ecosystem but in my opinion the Wear OS options try to be all things to all people and end up over promising and not delivering. So I have been seeking a hybrid option that does the basics really well and is largely platform neutral (i.e. Google vs Apple vs Microsoft vs Samsung).

What are the basics? It shows the time, looks nice, provides core health measurements and the app is elegant and simple. How? I am an average guy - I want to be healthier - but I will not be performing a triathlon anytime soon... So.....I do not need a device designed by NASA; I need a device that is robust, reliable and simple to use. It needs to present info to me so I can make my own decisions and not drown me with useless data.

The battery life is excellent.

My experience has been so good I purchased a Withings Body + Scale too.

If the next generation somehow included Google Wallet & Google Play I'd buy Withings gear for a long time into the future. Great product - recommended.

I love this watch, it does exactly what I wanted:
Look like a traditional watch, while providing basic fitness tracking.

It is my first fitness tracker, and I didn't need any crazy features. Just time, heart rate, calories burnt. This does an incredibly accurate job of tracking these.

The one criticism I have of this watch is that is uses regular glass for the watch face, rather than crystal sapphire - so be prepared for scratches.

If you don't want something like a fitbit, which screams "fitness tracker", this is the watch for you.

After several fitness/sleep trackers that had broken or didn't do as advertised, I decided to try the Withings HR Sport.
The watch itself is quite heavy due to steel construction compared to the plastic of most others. To me, it gives a good weight and seems very robust.
I primarily purchased for sleep tracking and general fitness which it does a very good job of tracking. There are 30 activities to choose from for the fitness tracking though I've yet to test the majority. Vibration through the watch for notifications is strong enough to be felt but not so intrusive as to be annoying.
Notifications though on a small screen are easy to read and provide enough detail to know if it's worth checking on the phone or dismissing.
I'm very impressed with the battery life - I've had the device for 3 weeks now and it is only down to 45%. This is with notifications on. I don't use the phone/GPS which I would assume more drain, however, compared to my previous trackers, this blasts them away (best I could manage was 7 days with notifications off on my previous tracker).
The fact that the watch itself uses mechanical hands (albeit electrically driven), means it is easily read in the sun and doesn't require button pushing or wrist spinning to get it to work. The hands aren't illuminated so can't be seen in the dark, however, pushing the button will light up the screen with the time and date if needed.
The only downside is the grey hands on a grey face can be awkward to pick in low light with older eyesight. In hindsight, I would probably go the white rather than black just for the contrast.

Overall, this is an excellent watch/fitness tracker with enough smarts to satisfy basic smartwatch needs - I can highly recommend this product.

Buyer Beware! There is a not-uncommon fault with these watches where the hands don't stay in sync (drifts over a few days until it shows the completely wrong time). Because the watch was out of it's one year warranty, Withings support helped some troubleshooting and then diagnosed a hardware fault and offered a substantial discount on a replacement. The kicker is that the replacement could only ship to a really limited set of countries in Europe and north America. They told me it was my responsibility to get a shipping address set up in one of those countries if I wanted to use the discount they just offered me.
I can honestly say that their customer support people just didn't care, this was their policy and not their problem. Great product if you're one of the lucky ones that has no hardware issues, but pray that you don't ever need to use their product support.

Battery life, looks and style are all very good. Build quality appears solid but would like tougher scratch resistant glass.

Black watch has poor visibility in low light. Numerals should be clearer.
Measurements are not accurate though I have yet to see a smart watch that is.. My iPhone is much more accurate.
Cannot detect that I am walking on a treadmill it thinks that I am on a bike.
Cannot comment on reliability yet. Had I known that I had to use an app to set up and give private info I would not have purchased the watch.

I bought this to replace a Skagen hybrid smartwatch, where the display had gone bozwonk (aka faulty, belly-up or defective).
This is a physically slightly smaller watch, and is more elegant on he wrist. It has an analogue display but with a small round window where the data is displayed, and scrolls through date/time, steps, mileage, calories burnt - and you can choose what parameters are displayed. It just has one button - nice and simple, then - but is easy to put on 'exercise' mode, and the GPS link to the phone is strong and stable. In fact, it links and syncs to my phone (A Motorola Android) really well. I've had previous Fitbits (hit and miss at best) and a Skagen (OK but it needed to be 'encouraged' occasionally)
The battery life on a single charge is really good - about 4 weeks. My only other observation is that it seems to count less steps than my old watch - perhaps its a little less sensitive to movement, but its not a complaint, just an observation. Maybe my old one overcounted, or this one undercounts. Who knows.
The Withings app is good - and has all the usual stuff about exercise, heart rate, steps, sleep quality etc and can map your run/walk.
It does all this very well and without fuss. It looks good, and is comfortable to wear. Oh, and it tells the time, too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Snygg med bra batteritid, men dålig på att räkna steg och på att mäta pulsen.
Reviewed in Sweden on 28 August 2021
