"Buckle in and enjoy the ride. Another spectacularly fun romp from the reigning master of high-concept adventure!" --Booklist starred review of The Four Legendary Kingdoms
"Nobody writes action like Matthew Reilly." --Vince Flynn on Seven Deadly Wonders
"The wildly imaginative Reilly has taken inspiration from comics, video games, thrillers and Code-style puzzle novels to create this rocket-fueled sequel to his 7 Deadly Wonders...A tongue-in-cheek quality (one that extends to the low-tech looking maps and illustrations) will help readers find this outlandish adventure thrilling." --Publishers Weekly on The Six Sacred Stones
"Think of it as watching an Indiana Jones film on a moving roller coaster!" --Library Journal on The Five Greatest Warriors

About the Author
Born in Sydney in 1974, Matthew Reilly was not always a big fan of reading. It was only after he read To Kill A Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies in Year 10 that he realised reading could transport you to another world. Following this revelation, Matthew soon began creating stories of his own and set about writing his first novel, Contest, at the age of 19 while still at university studying law.
Following rejections from all the major publishers, Matthew self-published Contest in 1996, printing 1000 copies. He produced a big-budget-looking novel which he sold into bookshops throughout Sydney, one shop at a time.
In January 1997, a Commissioning Editor for Pan Macmillan Australia walked into Angus & Robertson's Pitt Street Mall store and bought a copy of Contest. The editor tracked Matthew down through his contact details in the front of the book. Interestingly, those original self-published editions of Contest have now become much sought after collectors' items. One recently sold on eBay for $1200!
Matthew Reilly is now the internationally bestselling author of the Scarecrow novels: Ice Station, Area 7, Scarecrow, Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves and the novella Hell Island; the Jack West novels: The Seven Ancient Wonders, The Six Sacred Stones, The Five Greatest Warriors, The Four Legendary Kingdoms,The Three Secret Cities, The Two Lost Mountains, and The One Impossible Labyrinth; and the standalone novels Contest, Temple, Hover Car Racer, The Tournament, Troll Mountain, The Great Zoo of China, The Secret Runners of New York, Cobalt Blue and Mr Einstein's Secretary.
His books are published in over 20 languages with worldwide sales of over 8 million copies.
Since The Seven Ancient Wondersin 2005, Matthew's novels have been the biggest selling new fiction title released in Australia for that year.
Matthew has also written several short stories, including Roger Ascham and the King's Lost Girl, a special free prequel to The Tournament which is available online. Other short stories include Time Tours, The Mine and the hyper-adrenalised romp, Altitude Rush.
He owns and drives a DeLorean DMC-12, the car made famous in the Back to the Future movies. He also has a life-sized Han Solo in carbonite hanging on the wall of his office! When not writing or penning a film script, Matthew can be found on the golf course.
Matthew Reilly is currently living in Los Angeles. He is the director of his first movie, Interceptor, a Netflix film co-written with Stuart Beattie.

I highly recommend all the Jack West books as they will NOT disappoint you.

4.5 stars
A heartstopping finale to an epic series.
The One Impossible Labyrinth is the 7th and final novel in the series featuring our hero, Jack West Junior. The book immediately opens where the previous book left off diving straight into the action. I'd recommend starting from book 1 if you're new to the series.
The Jack West Jnr series is an exhilarating packed adventure series and this latest entry is n exception. Knowing this was the last one, I wanted to savor it but once I started I couldn't put it down devouring page after page as the story raced towards the grand finale.
For Jack and the team the stakes are the highest so far as the fate of the world hangs on their completion of this last Impossible challenge. Each obstacle they have to overcome is more complex, obscure and challenging than the last. Just when you think things couldn't possibly get any more hopeless, thr author pulls.put another gut wrenching twist.
The settings are detailed, intricate and well developed. The pictures help to visualize the locations and puzzles.
The series and this book feels like Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones crossed with a Tom Cruise action movie. While the book focuses heavy on plot and action, the characters are well developed, realistic and each lovable in their own way so its hard to pick a favorite. The alternate and different take on many real historical and mythological events and locations are well done and thought provoking.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this book and series. It's sad to say goodbye to a beloved series after 16 years and 7 books but overall the ending was satisfying and wrapped everything up well.
Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Would have loved to see some Scarecrow action in here but still was amazing !
The world Reilley has built is just amazing.
Maybe not the best of the series but very close.
A very enjoyable ride through 7 books.
