My teen is very happy with our Alexa echo dot speaker with clock. The sound quality is good and it was easy for my teenager to set up. Also purchased an awesome colour changing smart bulb to go with it and we have fun telling Alexa to change light colour, brightness etc. It is also fun to tell Alexa “I love you” and hear her response and listen to her large repertoire of pirate jokes among the many other features of Alexa.

Love the speaker great sound use mainly for my Audible audio books and music. The bluetooth connection is easy to use and connect with my computer I own a lot of music and do not subscribe to any music service so this little speaker has given me so much enjoyment of my entire music collection it amazes me why I did not try this sooner. I actually don't have a lot of use for Alexa but she is great for setting timers and weather but the winning feature is the speaker, and I do love the clock it naturally dims so does not interfere with sleeping.

We moved our Echo show to the kitchen and needed the Echo Dot with clock for the bedroom. I love the look - it's simple unobtrusive, and the self-dimming clock makes it perfect for bedrooms (and no camera!). For basic questions/searches, and listening to news and podcasts, the audio is loud enough and decent. For music the audio quality is not as good as good as the Show or my son's Google home mini, but it's fine for background music.

Using this as a bedside alarm clock, it's neat, conpact, shows the time and I can ask it stuff.
If my wife is still sleeping when the alarm goes off I can press the dot button ontop to still the alarm, or press the top of the unit with my hand to snooze, I stead of using voice commands to turn it off and wake my wife.
I ask it to play some soothing or classical music sometimes before bed, and I sometimes Bluetooth it to my phone and play my YouTube music through it. Whilst the sound is t great, it's just for listening in the background in the bedroom.
Overall I'm very happy.
