Whether you have an OM-D, PEN or any other compatible advanced camera, you’ll benefit from all that the Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens system standard has to offer: compact size, lightweight, more shooting freedom, high image quality and ease of use, to name just a few.

Superb optics from a compact design

With a zoom power of 16.6x, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm (24–400mm*) F3.5–6.3 lens is perfect for all shots – from wide-angle to telephoto. Together with an amazingly compact, lightweight design, a high-speed and high-precision AF mechanism, and a dust/splash/freezeproof construction, this zoom lens is ideal for taking everywhere.

*35mm equivalent

Powerful high zoom

Be ready for every photo opportunity – both wide angle and telephoto. With a 16.6x zoom, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm F3.5–6.3 has the most powerful zoom of all interchangeable lenses for mirrorless systems*. With both options in one lens, you can enjoy carefree photography at all times.

*As of January 2019.

Maximum portability

For a lens with such a high zoom range, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm F3.5–6.3 has a surprisingly slim profile: at just 99.7mm in length and with a diameter of 77.5mm. Not only is this lens ultra-compact, it’s also lightweight at a mere 455g – enabling you to shoot all the way from wide angle to telephoto with just a single lens.

Ready for all weather

The resilient construction of this lens lets you fully concentrate on capturing the action, even under harsh conditions. A host of strategically placed seals prevent dust particles and water splashes from entering the lens. Together with a dust/splash/freezeproof OM-D, you have a robust system ready for any situation.

Speedy AF response

Since the subject doesn’t always wait for you, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm F3.5–6.3 features a high-speed, high-precision autofocus system. An inner focus system moves the single, lightweight cemented lens used for focusing to accurately locate the focus position – and captures particularly fast-moving subjects in half the lag time compared to competitor lenses.

Brilliant images

While offering maximum portability for a lens of this class, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm F3.5–6.3 packs a big punch when it comes to stunningly crisp, edge-to-edge image quality. You will notice the difference at every zoom range. Combined with an Olympus camera body, this lens gives you a super high-quality system in the palm of your hand.

Pristine optics

To ensure crystal-clear imaging performance with every click or take, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm F3.5–6.3 lens features the special ZERO coating from Olympus. It reduces ghosting and flaring, for example when shooting against the light, to deliver rich tonal expression.

For photos and films

The autofocus in this lens has been specially optimised for both stills and movies. Minimised autofocus noise ensures your recordings have low levels of background sound during playback. View shift is also reduced when film-making. If you like, you can select manual focusing with just the right amount of resistance for smooth, precise operation.

Enhanced experience

Compatible with a range of accessories, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12–200mm F3.5–6.3 lets you enhance your shooting experience by adding a protection filter to the lens. Cases are also available to make sure your lens is protected on any photo assignment around the world.

Well built but image quality beyond about 140 mm is next to useless. Very disappointed. Bought for travel but will now go back to lugging my Panasonic 100-400 mm about because it is so far superior to this lense.

I do not claim to be an expert photographer, but this lens has made me look good. I do not know what else to say. I use it on my Olympus Mark IV and don't believe I have taken it off since it arrived. The quality of the zoom, to me, is phenomenal. Look at the photos and judge for yourself.
