Comfort:
These are hands-down the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn. All other earbuds I've tried became uncomfortable after an hour or so - I can wear the MTW3s for hours and forget they're even there. They sit tight and do not slip at all. Transparency mode is good enough so sometimes I don't even bother taking them out during the day. Battery life supports this, too - with a mix of listening to music, taking calls and using transparency mode they usually last about seven hours without a recharge from the case.

Sound Quality:
Coming from Sony's WH1000MX3 over-ear headphones I found the sound to be a bit flat at first - Sony headphones tend to give you a warm, very bass-heavy sound. The MTW3s are definitely more neutral sounding. But once my ears adapted I really enjoyed the clarity these buds give you. Instruments are clearly distinguishable, nothing is mushy, no audible noise and audible compression artefacts are extremely rare. In the end a lot of it comes down to taste and personal preference but technically this is top notch.

The buds support aptx Adaptive however my phone does not. Instead of falling back to aptx HD (which my phone does support) they fall back to regular aptx which has a lower bandwidth. It's still good enough for Spotify on highest quality but if you listen to HD quality music it might become a bottleneck. I do wish they'd support LDAC instead.

Update: I was able to test them on a phone that supports aptX Adaptive and it's a significant increase in quality. So make sure your phone supports it if you want to get the most out of these earbuds.

Call Quality:
I've had no complaints at all about bad call quality. I really like how you can just use a single earbud for a phone or conference call. Given how comfortable they are it's easy to forget you're even talking on the phone.

Noise Cancellation:
Noise cancellation is well-balanced for normal environments. It doesn't block out background noise completely but gives you a good amount of awareness of your surroundings without being distracting. Outdoors, the anti-wind mode works surprisingly well. In very loud environments they fail to block out all the noise, so on an airplane I would probably opt for over-ear noise cancelling headphones, or even performance-grade in-ear monitors with a tight physical seal.

Misc:
Connectivity and range is about what you'd expect - nothing exceptional but no issues at all. The control scheme works really well and is fully configurable in the app. They do not support multipoint connection (hopefully they will with a future upgrade), however you can still control them with the app while they are paired to a different device.

Update: Multipoint is now supported with the latest firmware and works well.

So why did I pick these over the Sony WF1000XM4 which have a better bluetooth codec and a sound profile that I know and like?

a) Comfort - I'm completely sold on how comfortable these buds are.
b) Control scheme - Sony's buds let you configure which two things you want to control. If, for example, you want media controls and the ability to toggle noise cancelling, you won't be able to control the volume. If you want volume and media controls, you can't turn on transparency mode. I know that sooner or later this would have bugged the hell out of me. These buds give you everything all at once, and it's completely customizable, too.

Wasn’t planning to buy new headphones but the Amazon sale price was to good to pass up! Have been totally impressed by these headphones since getting them. Initial set up did take some time, albeit to get the optimum performance it is worth sitting down and getting to know the features and functionality - there is plenty of YouTube content to help. I use them in the office for phone calls and music and at home for streaming from my tablet, connectivity is easy, sound quality great. The noise cancelling is good, I haven’t yet mastered the ‘transparency’ feature so still having unwanted sounds leaching through. All in all a great buy, very happy with them.

I am writing this review to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the repeated quality issues I have faced with their earbuds. Over the past few months, I have had to exchange the same pair of earbuds at least three times due to various defects, costing me an additional $30 in postage fees.

The most unbearable experience occurred when I received a replacement pair, only to discover that these earbuds could not be charged at all. THEN, I, myself, had to pay fees to send them back for an exchange, which was just so frustrating. This defect rendered them completely unusable right out of the box. The inconvenience and additional costs associated with these exchanges have been both time-consuming and emotionally draining. Each time I received a replacement, I hoped that the issue would be resolved, only to be faced with another disappointment.

I once was a big fan of this brand and bought at least 6 different kinds of products. However, this cycle of defects has completely eroded my trust in their products.

Picked these up to replace some jabra elite 7 pros. Had constant complaints of poor call quality with the jabras and needed something better. The sennheisers are much better on calls so they get to stay.

I'll just mention the issues I've had because that's probably all you care about.

Obviously fit will depend on the shape of your ears. That's said, the fit is OK. I tend to need to rotate the silicon tip so that it seals in my ear properly. I can't explain it, I've never needed to do that with any other ear buds. It's like they're slightly oval shaped and only fit right in the correct orientation. Once I have that right though they seal nicely. These are not the buds you want for vigerous activity, they will fall out just having a good laugh or sneezing. I'm not a runner but I can't imagine these staying in if I did.

The bluetooth connection is not as good as any of the jabras I've had previously - 75t, 85t, 7 pro. They don't get nearly as good range, and after disconnecting they take longer to reconnect when coming back into range, if they reconnect at all. Often when they lose connection and reconnect, they end up jittery and unstable, needing to be put back in the charge case to start over. Connection to multiple devices can cause some weirdness. Controls often get confused or stop working entirely when the audio source switches between a phone and laptop. This sometimes happened with the jabras as well though, seems more of a general Bluetooth issue more than a specific issue with these buds.

The noise cancelling is OK, not as good as the elite 7 pros or the 85ts. Maybe as good as the 75ts last time I tried them. They work well on lower frequencies, but let high frequencies right through. Crinkling paper, boots squeaking on lino, running water etc, goes right through the anc. General office noise, talking etc is toned down well enough though.

The battery life is disappointing. Half a day tops then you'll be charging. The charge case also has significantly less life in it than the jabras - any model. I'm making do though, just need to make sure any time I take them out I put them in the case rather than leaving them on my desk. Also keep the case plugged in when I'm near a charger.

The charge case itself is too big. These will not be pocketable for many people and uncomfortable for most others. I have no idea how they made a case this large and got so little battery life out of it. The fabric covering is nice though, it seems to be holding up to general wear and tear so far with no pilling or fraying.

The controls have pros and cons. The various control options are good and work well. Touch is a questionable interface though. Grab the bud to adjust the fit? Yep you're hitting the control like it or not. Maybe it adjusts your volume, maybe it ends your call, maybe it skips your favourite song, who knows? Accidental touches will be something that happens though, it just will.

The main feature I was concerned with is call quality. I don't get complaints of sounding like I'm speaking from the bottom of a barrel, but background noise rejection is poor. If you're in a noisy area people are going to know. Cleaning dishes and taking a call, people will definitely know. They'll be able to understand you though, which makes these the first buds I've had that I can be confident of being consistently understood with.

The box is an all cardboard affair - nice to see companies moving away from plastic trash since most of the time any case/box is trash.

Comes with a usb A > C cable (10cm)
3x Sets of ear tips (XS/S/L) with mediums pre-fitted as normal
3x Sets of ear fins / wings (Flush/Small/Large)
Loads of paperwork and a quick start guide
The buds come packages inside the lovely material covered charging case, which supports USB-C and Qi wireless charging.
The case has a satisfying solid feel to it and the lid holds closed via a reasonably strong magnet

Initial Pairing, fitting and use
----------------------------------
Taking the buds from their case they immediately go into pairing mode as is fairly typical and showed up straight away on my S23 and paired as expected.
I opened up the Sennheiser app which i'd downloaded and it offered a firmware update, the update seemed to lift the version quite a lot so worth doing. The update needs the buds removed from the case so would recommend making sure they've got 50%+ battery and even though the app said 20 minutes to do, i'd say all told it was closer to 10m.

The app unlocks a variety of options:
EQ (both old fashion sliders of low/mid/high) and a personalised EQ option in which you select the sound balance you like of a series of music it plays.
ANC modes in which you have just anti-wind, full on or off. The ANC here seems very solid and much better than previous products i've used
Customise buttons - pick how you want touches / controls to be interpreted
Transparancy Mode - letting you hear what's going on either with or without music
Sound Zones - Setting EQ/ANC and other settings based on a geo-fenced location. So if you regularly commute or whatever you can set a different bunch of settings for the train vs office vs home etc
Fit Test - Plays a bunch of sounds to check how well you've got the earbuds sealed/seated in order to maximise the music.

The app / controls all seem responsive and work well. No issues here

Impressions on sound / fit / feel
-------------------------------------
I used the XS tips + Large wings and the buds sit securely in my ears (a major problem i have with TWS is getting them to feel like they won't fall out every 2 minutes)
The sound stage feels wider than most IEM's i've used. Doesn't feel like it's just inside your head but a little wider. No open-back headphones wide but good for In-ears.

The sound itself is rich leaning towards warm but only slightly. The default sound without EQ is perfectly fine. The bass is full and pleasant without making anything muddy. The drivers handle the full range well.
There's bass-boost if you need more bass but i found that made the sound feel a little duller. It worked better when using EQ sliders. The treble is defined and present without sibiliance

The fit in my ears is tremendously comfortable. They're snug without putting any pressure on the antihelix which a lot do and causes fatigue on that part. The wings sit snugly in the cymba concha but again are very soft silicone so provide a degree of stability without pressure.
I can definitely shake my head vigourously without the buds working loose and they're sitting here without feeling like i need to adjust them every 2 minutes. I reckon i could easily sit all day with these on
