The switch in the pictures and the one I received were not the same. The pictures show the English release version however I received a Japanese version with the Japanese power cords. I now need to purchase an AC adapter to plug in my dock and hope that I do not need a warranty request as Nintendo Australia will not honour the warranty as it is a Japanese console.

Even in New Zealand the product came about 4 days earlier than suggested, and had quality packaging. The design is very cool on the back and the custom joy cons and the dock is also very cool, you don't even have to be a pokemon fan to think its cool. As a review on the OLED variant the larger screen and better colours are a massive jump over the original switch, for the price it is about the same as regular versions in local retail stores so I am happy with my purchase however you may be able to find a original OLED switch for a cheaper price, of which if you end up using a case then it is probably not necessary to buy this variant.
