Ok first I should mention that I'm a trans woman and haven't started transitioning yet, as obviously that means I'm a lot hairier than most who'll use this :p .

This works very well on my arms, leaving them completely hairless. Works well on my back and front, leaving hairs only in awquard places such as around my collar bone. As for my legs I've found it does work, but not as well as the other places, much easier to use a wet venus shaver, main reason I got this was I was anxious about using a wet shaver on areas like my wrists. Also I was messing about with it, as didn't think it was working(more on that later) and accidently removed the blade. Got someone to help me put it back in. I also tried using it on my beard, I say that as had been occasionly using it on my beard before I got the blade out, but ever since the blade accidently came out it has been snagging now and again, which can be quite painful.

As for me thinking it wasn't working, I've found for best results you kinda need to pivot the head, so all surfaces of the razor make contact with your skin if you get me? It's just me, but this technique works really well for me. So yeah overall a great razor, and I'm ridiculously hairy, so if it works on a bear like me, should work amazingly for everyone else lol.

Per depilarmi ho provato qualsiasi metodo: il primo che ho usato, a 13 anni, è stato il rasoio, la ben nota lametta sensor excel, poi sono passata alla crema, che mi ha tolto la pelle ma neanche un pelo, l’epilatore elettrico Satinelle di Philips, aggeggio satanico portatore malsano di peli incarniti, e infine, per disperazione, la ceretta dall’estetista. Non mi ricordo una volta di essere uscita dal centro estetico con le gambe perfettamente lisce nonostante i 20 euro spesi ogni seduta, ma mi consolavo pensando che i peli prima o poi si sarebbero dimezzati, diventati più morbidi, insomma, tutte quelle favole che ci fanno desistere dall’idea di ritornare al rasoio. Peccato che un giorno mi sia accorta che la ceretta mi dava gli stessi problemi di peli incarniti dell’epilatore elettrico, se non peggio. Ora ho le gambe piene di macchiette marroni, zone in cui i peli sono sottopelle che non riesco ad estrarre nemmeno con l’ago. Ho deciso quindi di lasciare i metodi depilatori a strappo alle amanti del masochismo e convertirmi per sempre alla lama. Ho però pensato di provare un rasoio elettrico, per due motivi: il primo è che le testine di ricambio del venus di gillette che funzionano su di me (quelle da 5 lame) sono davvero troppo care, il secondo è che, ora che sta arrivando la bella stagione, ho bisogno di depilarmi più spesso e non ho sempre tempo di mettermi lì ad insaponarmi le gambe.
Dopo mesi di ricerche ho deciso di buttarmi su questo rasoio. Sì, è un rasoio anche se si chiama silk-epil (basta leggere il titolo della vendita, e anche dalle foto fornite da amazon capisce benissimo). Anche se è possibile utilizzarlo anche in doccia, lo uso solamente a secco. Arriva con il caricatore (il mio ha una presa normalissima, non inglese come ho letto in una recensione) una testina per la zona bikini, una che dovrebbe tirare leggermente la pelle per rendere la rasatura più efficace (OptiShave) e un’altra esfoliante. Il rasoio, che si può aprire e ripulire con la spazzolina in dotazione, è dotato di lama oscillante, il che vuol dire che questa non è fissa ma si muove, in modo tale che possa seguire alla perfezione ogni curva del corpo.
Per la zona bikini utilizzo un piccolo trimmer apposito, quindi non credo che utilizzerò mai la testina dedicata, quindi su questa non posso esprimermi. L’accessorio OptiShave è utile, ma lavora meglio se con una mano tirate ulteriormente la pelle da radere prima di passare il rasoio. La testina esfoliante ha una piccola striscetta ruvida vibrante; a prima vista sembra inutile, ma l’ho invece trovata efficace sull’interno coscia, zona per me più problematica.
Diciamo subito che il risultato della lametta è per me imbattibile, ma anche questo rasoio elettrico non se la cava affatto male, anzi! Certo, per avere una pelle liscia bisogna passarlo più volte, ma del resto questa è un’operazione che devo fare anche con il rasoio manuale. Di certo con l’elettrico ci metto meno tempo, dal momento che posso evitare fare una doccia appositamente per depilarmi, oltre tagli ed irritazioni. Inoltre, rispetto alla lametta, mi sembra che quei pochi peli che non riesco a radere perfettamente pungano di meno, ma questa potrebbe essere una mia personale sensazione.
Comodissimo il fatto che funzioni sia cordless che collegato al filo, caratteristica quest’ultima ormai rarissima e, per me, di enorme pregio. Sarebbe stato perfetto se avesse avuto anche un indicatore dello stato della batteria, ma non ne sento la mancanza.
Io mi sono trovata molto bene: è pratico, soddisfa le mie esigenze, non fa troppo rumore e non mi devo preoccupare che sia sempre carico. L’ho pagato poco più di 37 euro.
Se avete la pelle sensibile, siete sempre di corsa e non sopportate la depilazione a strappo, provatelo. Per quel che mi riguarda, se tornassi indietro lo comprerei quanto prima.

Tips and tricks: vi consiglio di utilizzare il rasoio su peli non troppo lunghi, non insomma da 1 cm, per ottenere un risultato migliore. Il risultato perfetto lo ottengo senza utilizzare nessuna delle testine, semplicemente tendendo bene la pelle e passando il rasoio facendo un po’ di pressione, in modo tale che la lama sia il più vicino possibile alla pelle. Oltre che con classico movimento dal basso verso l'alto, lo passo anche in modo circolare, sia in senso orario che antiorario, in questo modo ottengo il risultato ideale. Non vi consiglio di utilizzarlo sotto la doccia perché l’umidità, con questo tipo di rasoi, tende a creare attrito e la rasatura sarà sicuramente meno soddisfacente. Secondo me la soluzione ideale per la bella stagione è passare la lametta una volta a settimana per una rasatura profonda e usare l'elettrico per mantenerla. Sul libretto delle istruzioni consigliano di lubrificare il blocco radente ogni 3 mesi e dopo ogni lavaggio con acqua con una goccia di vaselina.
Spero di essere stata utile a tutte quelle ragazze che, come me, non possono utilizzare metodi a strappo. Provate questo... Vi darà una grossa mano quest'estate!

Der Akku des Silk-epil LS 5560 hält ca 40 Min beim rasieren. von der Farbe her sieht er genauso aus wie er auf dem Bild abgebildet ist. Was ich sehr an dem Silk-epil LS 5560 schätze ist das er auch während des Ladevorgangs nutzbar ist.Der Akku ist in ca.45-60 Min wieder aufgeladen, bei nicht Benutzung während des Ladevorgangs. Er erfasst auch sehr kurze Haare gut. Der Rasierer verursacht keine Hautreizungen also keine roten stippigen und stoppligen Hautstellen direkt nachdem rasieren, was ja gerade schnell an den dünnen Hautstellen wie z.B.unter den Achseln sehr unangenehm sein kann. Die Haut sieht nachdem rasieren schön glatt aus und fühlt sich auch so an. Das Rasierergebnis ist von der Glätte her fast vergleichbar mit dem Ergebnis nachdem epelieren.Die Haare wachsen nachdem rasieren mit dem Silk - epil auch weniger schnell nach. Praktisch finde ich den Aufbewarungsbeutel in dem alle Aufsätze, Rasierer und der Reinigungspinsel Platz finden. Von der Lautstärke bei dem Gebrauch empfinde ich diesen Rasierer nicht als lauter oder leiserer als andere Rasierer,da die ja alle recht laut bei Gebrauch sind. Der Rasierer liegt gut in der Hand. Am Rasierer gibt es einen kleinen Schieberegler an dem man zwischen der Bein/Achsel und der Bikinizonenrasur wählen. Durch die Wahl zwischen der Bein/Achsel und der Bikinizonenrasur ist das Rasierergebnis optimirt. Der OptiShave- Aufsatz verfeinert die Poren während dem rasieren.Ich habe sehr empfindliche Haut und epfinde den Peeling-Aufsatz als sehr sanft aber trotzdem als sehr efktiv und die Haut sieht danach trotzdem nicht gerötet aus oder fühlt sich gereizt an. Wo durch das Rasierergebniss besser als bei einer Nassrasur ist.Preiswert ist der Silk- epil LS 5560 wirklich nicht. Aber dafür ist das Rasierergbniss auch wesentlich besser. Die Haut fühlt sich wesentlich weicher und glatter an. Die Aufsätze sitzen fest auf dem Rasierer und lassen sich leicht durch das drücken der beiden Knöpfe rechts und links oben an der Seite entfernen.Danach einfach den neuen Aufsatz aufstecken.Die Bedienungsanleitung ist leicht verständlich und bezieht sich auf das Wesentliche: Welcher Aufsatz für was ist,die Einstellung des Schieberegler an dem man zwischen Achsel/Beinrasur und die Rasur in der Rasur der Bikinizone,Pflege des Rasierers,technische Daten und die Bezeichnung der Knöpfe.Dabei ist sie in allen Sprachen gehalten und hat 96 Seiten.Ich empfinde den Silk-epil nicht als Preiswert.Ist dabei aber auch wesentlich besser als andere Rasierer.Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen und kann ihn weiterempfhlen. Zu mal es bei der Marke Braun was die Rasierer an geht auch fast alle Verschleißteile nachzukaufen gibt.
