There are numerous great things about the dress, the colour, the length, the fabric etc. But the killer is the sleeves. The picture shows free flowing sleeves. However mine are elasticated, which give you the big old fashioned mutton sleeves, which as a bigger girl do not look good on me.
I tried to remove the elastic but it has been sown into the hem of the sleeve so I have to unpick the entire sleeve and remove the elastic and sew it again. I have not had the time to do that, so the beautiful dress is hanging in the cupboard not being worn.
Please use the following guide to help you decide which size to buy. Values given are body measurements. To help you choose the best size, we recommend that you compare the measurements with your own.
Chest: Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.
Waist: Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the tape to circle your waist (sort of like a belt would) at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.) Don’t suck in your stomach, or you’ll get a false measurement. If you generally wear your clothes below your waist, take that measurement as well.
Hips: Measure the circumference of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks. Because making sure the tape is level back there can be hard, try to do it in front of a mirror.

Another lovely top from Yaya @ Kabana. Thank you
I have always been very cautious when it came to Wrap Dresses as everyone I tried on just did not sit right. Wow Rubyyaya you have converted me. I have so many Rubyyaya dresses but avoided The Wrap Dress. Never again will I overlook Wrap Dresses. Rubyyaya Wrap Dresses are perfect fit ( size s). Very well made as usual by Rubyyaya, so comfortable, beautiful material against skin you don’t want to take it off. The colours are lovely. Love love love it. So happy my size was still available and Ladies, please do not overlook Rubyyaya Wrap Dresses. Lovingly converted. Thank you Rubyyaya and Kabana for best quality clothing, best staff and speedy delivery. You are all so appreciated. Kind Regards Diane 🪷🙏
Lovely dress but this size 2 Itami pink Lester was a bit tighter than the size 2 light Itami cream dress I got as it fitted me perfectly.
I paid and returned it myself. It is waiting to be picked up at your Destination so hopefully it can get picked up and processed asap and I get my refund back.
Plus sadly the colour did not suit me.
Appreciate your kind help,
regards,
Ann Harrison
Love it! It’s got a lovely sheen to the fabric.. probably wished I sized down though..I vary between 14/16 purchased 16 to be safe but smaller size would have been better..
One of the most pleasing prints I’ve ever worn. Gorgeous fabric and sits really well. Can’t wait to wear it all day while travelling. Wish i could load a photo. This seller doesn’t easily offer the ability to give reviews though.
