I do like the sound and comfort but it needs equalizer for a nice full sound.
CORSAIR's iCUE software doesn't really work as well as I hoped and the equalizer settings do nothing but I use other equalizer software so it didn't matter to me.
I was warned about the comfort and the need for bigger ear pads but I found it ok without them.
I do like the clamping force. It's not too strong, great for me when I wear glasses.
Other headsets can press in far too much for comfort and glasses at the same time.
The sound is flatter than I liked with underemphasized sub bass but it can produce good range with EQ settings. Comparing them to my Razor blackshark V2 pro the sub bass response is about the same but only after is been through equalizer.
The low mids, mids and upper mids are good and the highs up to about 10 hz.
I am not sure about anything higher as I lost my ability to hear anything over 12hz from too many years playing the drums
Out of the box it is quite thin, so if you like bass you will need to use an equalizer.
The wireless range is not as good as I would have liked but passable. The Bluetooth range seems to be longer.
The Bluetooth works well and it is really this very handy feature that I choose these for.
Being connected Bluetooth and wirelessly to PC at the same time is nice and is easy to setup.
Overall if you thinking of these for PlayStation or Xbox I am not sure I can recommend, it might work out ok but seeing as I don't own either I can not test that and as far as I can tell equalizer settings are not saved to the headset and it really needs EQ to sound as nice as say the Razor blackshark V2 pro.
Quality and style looks to be really nice.
Life and reliably will be the real test.
I would recommend for PC gamers who need wireless usb and Bluetooth connection simultaneously.
