Was looking for microlab speakers as they were a really good bang for the buck but they seem to have disappeared. Edifier seen to be very much the same so I wonder if corporate merger etc etc. Anyway - these a a good bang for the buck too. Good sound, good look, don't break the bank. Perhaps audiophiles will pout about the sound quality but for us peasants it's a big thumbs up.

The speakers (EdifierR1280DB) were advertised as reconditioned but when I received them and opened the package everything looked new. There was a hardly perceivable scratch on top of one of the speakers that hinted the speakers may not be new. The speakers produce excellent sound, particularly for the money. Communication with the seller was excellent and postage was quick. I don't have any hesitation in recommending this seller A++++
