Take off on an exhilarating hot air balloon flight over the stunning Hunter Valley wine region. You'll be soaring to dizzying heights in the early hours as the sun rises over the landscape way below. Enjoy the thrill of flying and the amazing views of the vineyards, mountain ranges and local wildlife as you float through the valley.
After a quick safety briefing in the early hours before the sun rises, you'll head to your launch site and get ready for take-off. As the hot air balloon inflates you'll be swept away for an incredible flying experience. Go from a few feet above the trees to thousands of feet above the ground in moments and enjoy the view as the sun rises over the valley.
Fitness and Experience
- You must be able to stand up for the duration of the Hot Air Balloon Flight, approximately 45-60 minutes
- You advise of any medical condition that may preclude them from flying such as serious knee, hip or back problems, recent surgeries or broken bones
- Those more than 12 weeks pregnant cannot participate in ground activities relating to inflating and deflating the balloon and are not permitted to fly in the balloon
- Maximum weight 130kg
- Minimum height 120cm
- Minimum age 7 (Children must be accompanied by a participating adult)
What to Bring/Wear
- Outdoor clothes are recommended (avoid whites)
- Solid shoes as the ground is often uneven covered with dew in the early morning
- Don’t overdress - it is often warmer in the balloon than on the ground
- Sunglasses and a cap
- Camera or phone to capture the amazing views
What is Supplied
- Hot Air Balloon flight for about one hour
- Trip for one person (please note there will be others in the basket with you)
- Access to digital photos from flight
