In battle, they have a silky sealed 3-piece carbon washer drag system, offering an enormous 7kg of drag pressure in the smaller reels and up to 12.5kg’s in the 6000. So you can rest assured there will be ample stopping power on strong fish heading for structure, a necessity for anglers chasing fish like the mighty mangrove jack, barra, bass, snapper, tuna, etc.

The DURA air rotor evenly lays braided lines, which means longer casts, less wind knots and the line smoothly coming off the reel when a fish takes a run. Throw in some weight reducing holes and gold embossing, and the result is a very sleek and effective spool.

Internally, the reels super smooth gearing makes for friction free handle operation, while the 5.8:1 gear ratio and 5.6:1 in the 6000 model offers a combination of high speed for retrieving and torque once a fish is hooked. The screw in aluminium handle caters for both right and left-handed anglers without the need for replacing the screw pin and the EVA handle knobs have plenty of grip, even when wet or with a bit of added fish slime.
