Which cable do I need for my vehicle?
To easily find out which cable your vehicle needs, you can check your vehicle charging port - if it has 7 pins, it is a Type 2 vehicle and needs a Type 2 to Type 2 cable. If the port has 5 pins, it is a Type 1 vehicle and needs a Type 1 to Type 2 cable.
Charge your EV or PHEV on all Type 2 home or public charging ports at 16(3.6kW) or 32(7.2kW) Amps. This cable also works with 16 Amp vehicles by down-rating automatically, making the 32 Amp version future proof.
