The requirement for effective lubrication of garage door and gate drives be it chain, worm or gear, call for a specialised grease that ensure good service life, that lowers maintenance costs and promotes quiet and smooth operation. Most, if not all, components associated with garage doors and gates, including hinges, ball joints and slideways operate under boundary lubricant conditions and are exposed to the elements. To meet these lubricant requirements, a quality product should prevent wear, fatigue and chattering on heavily loaded drive components, the slides and guideways, hinges and ball joints. Furthermore the lubricant should remain in place for extended periods and be able to withstand and resist the effects of water, particularly on outside motorised gate mechanisms.

SCA Garage door and Gate Grease is a white, lithium complex grease that has a proprietary blend of white solid lubricants which are highly water resistant and offer good wear protection under high loads, shock loading and vibration. These solid lubricants ensure smooth and quiet drive operation and can be applied to ALL garage doors hinges, slides and drives that are chain or worm/screw driven to ensure effective resistance to wear, seizure and stick slip. Increased polymer content in the SCA Garage Door and Gate Grease ensure excellent metal adhesion particularly to outdoor motorized gate mechanisms such as ball joints and rack and pinion drives. This white grease is clean and not unsightly and it’s additives ensure excellent corrosion protection to metal components once applied.
