Lincoln Peirce shares anecdotes along with images and excerpts from blog posts over the years, revealing the behind-the-scenes stories behind the stories. It also includes behind-the-scenes looks at Big Nate the Musical in various stages and incarnations, Big Nate's world record strip, with some of the record-breaking images from the Today show, as well as images of kids working on it at their schools.

Sprinkled throughout are selections from Lincoln's sketchbook since childhood to present-day along with his commentary. Featuring highlights from 1991 to 2015, Epic Big Nate is a must-have for Big Nate fans of all ages!

About the Author

Lincoln Peirce has been drawing the Big Nate comic strip for more than 20 years. Born in Ames, Iowa, Peirce grew up in Durham, New Hampshire. As a kid, he began creating his own strips in the sixth grade. Peirce taught high school in New York City and has created several animated pilots for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. He lives in Portland, Maine, with his family.
