When out in the really rough terrain sometimes a winch and a pair of Maxtrax or Treds just aren't quite enough to get you going again; that's when you need the Ridge Ryder 48" high lift jack. This jack is purpose built to allow the operator to lift a vehicle enough to place packing under a wheel, particularly when the vehicle is stranded in a deep rut, and drive out under it's own power.

The mechanised system on this Ridge Ryder high lift jack makes it simple and easy to use. When out in the bush, simply place the jack underneath a lift point on the chassis (or in some cases the bull bar depending on your vehicles construction), and you can easily begin to lift the 4WD. This particular high lift jack has a height when lowered of only 110mm, and a full extension height of 1020mm, making it incredibly versatile. This jack also complies with Mandatory Vehicle Jack Standard AS/NZS2693:2007 (as varied), giving the user peace of mind.

Sometimes when the vehicle is stuck in a deep rut or bogged in deep mud, trying to shovel the vehicle might not be the most appropriate action. Particularly in ruts, it can also be very difficult to pack enough solid material under the vehicle to stabilise it during a recovery. That's when this high lift jack can really assist, allowing the user to raise the car enough to build some solid ground under the free-spinning wheels. Whilst suitable for lifting up to 1500kg in weight, it should be noted that this jack is not designed for wheel removal or vehicle maintenance. There is an optional base to assist in use on soft ground available to purchase separately.
