Before Test: 

1.Put the battery into the detector. 2.Take off the probe cap. 3.Turn on the switch. 4.Make sure just 1 light light up on the scale. 5.Make sure the " ready lamp" light on. 

6.Clean the surface of the gem.

7.Point the diamond tester detector probe needle at the surface of the gem.Keep the probe needle and the tested object must be at a 90° angle. 

8.Test is ready. 

Please notes:

1. Before staring the test, wash the stone cleanly. All the tests must be done by your bare hands.

2. No matter what gemstone you are testing, the probe needle and the tested object must be at a 90°angle. 

3. In case of loose stones, place the diamond detector stone on the loose stones platform, the hold the diamond detector in one hand and the platform with your other hand.

4. Before staring the test, be sure the diamond detector and gem maintain normal temperature.
